Salesforce is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that helps businesses connect with their customers in a whole new way.
In order to connect Salesforce to Windmill, you must have your Salesforce Instance URL.
Once you input your URL, you will be promoted to connect Salesforce to Windmill. Select Allow and you will be all set.
Connecting Salesforce to Windmill will grant access to the following:
- Opportunities
- Contacts
- Leads
- Tasks
- Accounts
In order to Enable field tracking history, for standard objects (e.g. Lead, Account, Contact, etc), click "Set History Tracking" when viewing Fields & Relationships for a given object in Object Manager. On the next screen select "Enable {ObjectName} History" and then select the field you want to track.
